Features of tantalum mesh: Tantalum mesh exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to concentrated alkaline solutions and demonstrates outstanding resistance to salts such as carbonates, nitrates, chlorides, and acetates in alkaline and neutral solution media. It also resists fatty acid corrosion and maintains stable performance in air, fresh water, and seawater.

Tantalum mesh applications: electronic components, filtration. Although tantalum mesh has high melting and boiling points, its electron work function is lower than that of refractory metals such as tungsten and molybdenum. Due to its weak electron emission capability, it has been used in vacuum electronic technology. The corrosion resistance of tantalum mesh is similar to that of glass. At moderate temperatures (around 150°C), only fluorine, hydrofluoric acid, sulfur trioxide (including fuming sulfuric acid), strong alkalis, and certain molten salts have an effect on tantalum.  Tantalum mesh in alkali production, chlor-alkali chemical and organic chloride manufacturing, food processing, vacuum electronic components, electronic instruments, water treatment, and high-temperature halogen applications.
