2507 super duplex stainless mesh

2507 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Wire MeshUNS S32750 | EN 1.4410 | F53with a balanced austenitic ferritic microstructure, but with higher concentrations of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen compared with 2205 duplex mesh. It features extremely high strength and superior corrosion resistance, designed for the harshest chloride‑containing, high‑pressure and marine environments.

Key Properties

· PREN ≥ 40 for excellent seawater and pitting resistance

· Yield strength ≈ 550 MPa – much higher than 2205 and 316L

· Outstanding resistance to: Chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC); Pitting corrosion; Crevice corrosion

· Slightly magnetic (ferrite phase)

· Recommended service temperature: -50°C ~ 315°C

· Avoid longterm exposure at 300–950°C (risk of embrittlement)

Typical Applications

· Offshore oil & gas: produced water, injection water filtration

· Deep-sea and coastal marine engineering

· Seawater desalination systems

· High-chloride chemical processing

· Flue gas desulfurization (FGD)

· High-pressure aggressive fluid filtration

Performance Comparison of the different stainless steel grade filter mesh:

· Corrosion resistance: 2507 > 2205 > 316L > 304

· Strength: 2507 > 2205 > 316L > 304
